The death of Elvis Presley‘s only daughter, Lisa Marie, has sparked a legal problem between her mother, Priscilla, and the singer’s lawyers, who died on January 12 at the age of 54. But if anyone has been looking out for Lisa Marie’s twin daughters, it has been her other daughter, actress Riley Keough.
Riley has looked out for her two teenage sisters
“Riley has been very good to the twins,” said Keough’s uncle, Navarone Garibaldi Garcia, who is the son of Priscilla Presley and Marco Antonio Garcia, with whom she had a relationship of just over two decades.
In a recent interview with People, Navarone briefly commented that Riley has been a good half-sister to Finley and Harper, who are currently 14 years old.
She avoids getting in trouble with her grandmother
Riley is the eldest daughter of Lisa Marie, whom she had with her first husband, Danny Keough, while Finley and Harper are daughters of Lisa’s last husband, Michael Lockwood.
Keough knows what it’s like to have a close loss, as two years before her mom died, her brother Benjamin died by suicide at age 27.
However, so far it seems that Riley, 33, wants to stay focused on her career and away from the problems that have always accompanied the Presleys, paying special attention to her two teenage sisters.
Although she has not expressed it publicly, Riley is worried about her sisters, and not so much about what has happened between her mom and her grandmother, since the latter is fighting to have part of her daughter’s inheritance, after she left her out of it a few years ago.
Riley and her two sisters will inherit Graceland, the famous property where Lisa Marie grew up and where Elvis died in 1977 at the age of 42.
