LeBron James’ frustration on the day he scored 46 points

LeBron James continues to make history even as the Los Angeles Lakers continue to rack up losses that keep them away from the playoffs. Against the Clippers, he became the first player in history to score at least 40 points against all 30 NBA teams.

The 46 points he scored helped him to gain ground in the pursuit of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar‘s record, yet his team continue to fail.

With five minutes left and trailing by 18, Darvin Ham brought out all the substitutes. This left LeBron James in a withdrawn state on the bench, waiting for the final moments of the game to tick by.

A three-pointer by LeBron (which broke his own personal record) with six and a half minutes left saw the Lakers ten points behind the Clippers and with a glimmer of hope at the end.

But a couple of bad plays that ended in a loss of possession coupled with an easy basket by their neighbors from Los Angeles ended the game.
