Lisa Marie Presley’s funeral memorial ceremony last Sunday was filled with celebrities and musicians, however, the socialite’s daughter Riley Keough could was absent from saying some words about her mother.
According to Radar Riley attended the memorial but was unable to step up to the stage and read the letter that she wrote for her late mother called “A Letter to My Mama” instead, her husband Ben Smith-Petersen was the person who read the kind words.
Others who attended the service were Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla, along with Lisa Marie’s ex-husband and father of her twins Michael Lockwood.

The memorial program had a schedule of events that included the performance of Amazing Grace by Jason Clark & The Tennessee Mass Choir, the frontman of the Smashing Pumpinks Billy Corgan who played his song For Sheila, and Alannis Morrisette who sang Rest.
Furthermore, Axl Rose from Guns N Roses played their massive hit November Rain, afterward, other family members continued their remembrance, including Lisa Marie’s good friend “Fergie” who made a speech titled “A Tribute to the Children”.
Priscilla Presley was the one who broke the news
A source told Radar that Priscilla managed to say her words without breaking down although it was a painful moment for everyone present.
Priscilla was the one who let the world know about her daughter’s passing “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla said in a statement at the time. “She was the most passionate, strong, and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for your love and prayers.”
