Mattress Mack loses two million dollars with the Cowboys’ loss and sends a message to Dak Prescott

Following their triumphant win against Tom Brady‘s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Dallas Cowboys were brought crashing back down to earth when they were beaten by the San Francisco 49ers, 19-12.

While the result by itself was heartbreaking for the Texan franchise, a famous mattress salesman in the state rubbed further salt into the wound by insisting that Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott should change his mattress brand following the loss.

Jim McIngvale is Mattress Mack

Jim McIngvale is a mattress salesman based in Texas who is known for placing large sports wagers. In fact, the man known as Mattress Mack, received a record-setting 10 million dollar payout when he successfully bet the Houston Astros would win the 2022 MLB World Series.

Prior to the game against the 49ers, McIngvale placed a two-million-dollar bet on the Cowboys, a wager he would ultimately lose. Despite the loss, McIngvale took to social media advising Prescott on how he could improve next season.

“Hey Dak, Mattress Mack here,” McIngvale said on social media.

“I just lost $2 million, but I’ve got some advice for you. Get rid of that Sleep Number mattress and get a Tempur-Pedic. You’ll get much better results!”

Former Cowboys wide receiver chimes in on the fun

Following McIngvale‘s post, former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Ownes also joined in on the action stating McIngvale‘s suggestion would not be enough.

Mack! I don’t think even think a tempur-pedic would’ve have helped him,” Owens said. “They should’ve signed me a couple of weeks ago!!”
