Boxing: Tyson Fury challenges Francis Ngannou to octagon super boxing fight

Boxing Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has already called Francis Ngannou out for a potential mega fight. But he did it again after the UFC Heavyweight champion relinquished his title by rejecting Dana White’s new contract offer. Contrary to the narrative White used of saying Ngannou wanted to face lesser opponents for more money, Ngannou’s reality isin no way linked to that notion. Yes, he will definitely try to win far more money than what ever Dana White offered him in different sports.

However, this new call-out from Tyson Fury proves Ngannou is by no means trying to fight lesser opponents. The fact that one of the two best Heavyweights in the world right now wants all the smoke from Francis says it all. Dana White was only trying to chin up after losing one of the best Heavyweights in UFC history. Tyson Fury laid the cards on the table during a recent interview with the SecondsOut Youtube channel. He also offered some news about the possible fight against Oleksandr Usyk and confirmed negotiations are ongoing.

Tyson Fury’s bold proposal for Francis Ngannou

As you all know, Francis Ngannou fighting Tyson Fury means the now former UFC champ would compete in a sport that isn’t his. If he gets inside a ring with Tyson Fury, he might likely get mauled by the champ. Tyson knows this perfectly and he offered a new alternative for Francis. Fury feels so confident in his skills, that he offered unique terms for this potential mega fight. Using four-ounce gloves and fighting inside an octagon made the entire world of combat sports look Tyson Fury’s way. As the interviewer said, there would be no soul in this world who wouldn’t pay to see that fight.

This is what Fury said: “Francis Ngannou, I know you’re out of contract with the UFC. Wanna earn some big boy money? Come see the Gypsy King. Let’s do a big, big fight for the baddest MF on the planet. Let’s kick it up spicy, in a cage, four-ounce gloves, under Queensberry [boxing rules], and let’s have a badass referee like Iron Mike Tyson. Did I just sell that to the world? If the contract doesn’t get signed with Usyk next for the fight of the century in boxing, then we’ll do the Ngannou fight. Whether it’s gonna be in Las Vegas or Wembley, who knows? We will know quite soon I think. If these fellas don’t come up and sign the contract for the big fight, then we’re moving on to greener pastures.”
