Colombian singer Shakira has made it quite clear that she isn’t going to keep quiet about any of her thoughts regarding her break-up with Gerard Pique.
The artist, who caused a furore after releasing ‘Bizarrap Music Sessions #53’, recently shared a series of Instagram stories and also an Instagram post, in which she also shared more thoughts on the break-up.
“What for me was a catharsis and an outlet, I never thought it would go straight to number one in the world at 45 years old and in Spanish,” she wrote in the post on social media.
“I want to embrace the millions of women who rise up against those who make us feel insignificant.”
Shakira is representing all women
The post didn’t stop there, as Shakira continued to delve even deeper into the subject, seeking to represent all those women who decide to stand up for themselves, just as she herself has done.
“Women who stand up for what they feel and think, and raise their hand when they disagree, even if others raise their eyebrows, they are my inspiration,” the post continued.
“And this achievement is not mine but all of theirs.
“Not as society orders us to, but in whatever way we can think of, the way that helps us to get ahead for our children, our parents and for those who need us and hope in us.”
A new message to Pique?
This message comes shortly after Pique once again became one of the most talked about topics of the day, after he announced a Casio sponsorship for the Kings League InfoJobs and appeared live on air wearing one of their watches.
It seems, then, that the Colombian wanted to dedicate these words to her ex-partner while at the same time sending a more motivational message to and for all those women who in one way or another have gone through or are going through something similar.
