Xavi Hernandez was furious during extra time of Barcelona‘s Supercopa de Espana semi-final against Real Betis, which the Catalans ended up winning a penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw.
The coach was raging while encouraging his players to confront the last 15 minutes of extra time, and did not hesitate to criticize their passivity on the pitch.
“Guys, we’re all standing still. We’re all stopped,” Xavi said to his players in a video shared by Movistar.
“F***ing hell, guys!”, whips the coach raising the tone of the speech.
“It’s a [place in the] final, which is a trophy,” Xavi reminds his players, putting real value the Supercopa de Espana.
After Xavi‘s words, the Barcelona players can be heard cheering each other on: “Come on, come on!”.
In the end, Barcelona, who squandered two leads during the match (1-0 in the first 90 minutes and 2-1 in extra time), won the penalty shootout and will play Real Madrid in the Supercopa de Espana final.
