The premiere of the third season of Stranger Things was spectacular news for Netflix, which had been in a year-long crisis due to the number of subscribers it had lost. The saga of this series, in its third installment, was the best debut of an English-language series in the history of the platform.
The fourth and final season of Stranger Things is expected to be historic, and very profitable financially for the platform and also for its stars. That’s why the portal Puck News has been able to discover, allegedly, the amount of money that the actors of Stranger Things will be paid for the final season.
There are four salary steps
In short, it is a huge amount of money that the actors of ‘Stranger Things’ will be paid. Not just in salary, but in special effects and production by Netflix. As for how much money the actors will receive, Puck News breaks it down into four salary tiers
Here are Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers) and David Harbour (Jim Hopper), who will be paid 9.5 million dollars per season. In season three, for example, their salary was no more than 3 million dollars.
Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler) and Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield), will be paid slightly over 7 million dollars.
Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler); Maya Hawke (Robin Buckley); Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers) and Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), will earn six million dollars
And Millie Bobby Brown?
The star of the series is not on any of these tiers. The explanation is simple, as the actress has a personal deal, outside of the series, with Netflix. The platform pays her for a deal that lasts for the entire series, including other work such as ‘The Electric State’ and ‘Enola Holmes’.
