In the coming days will be published the book ‘Spare’, in which Prince Harry recounts what has been his life as the second son of Princess Diana and now King Charles III, which is expected to make certain intimate revelations of the royal family that has worried more than one in Buckingham.
In addition, Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, is also preparing a book with her memoirs in which, according to a source quoted by the British Daily Mail, she will “leave no stone unturned” about her life as a royal.
Everyone in Buckingham is on the defensive
After the scandal sparked by the Netflix series ‘Harry & Meghan’, in which some revelations were made that made the royal family uncomfortable, ‘Spare’ is expected to add fuel to the fire and add to the controversy.
Now, with rumors of an alleged biography of Meghan, the royal family is expected to be more defensive than ever. The book would be part of a deal Meghan and Harry signed in 2012 with publisher Penguin Random House.
For ‘Spare’, it is unofficially reported that Harry could receive 20 million dollars, and there is still no information on how much Markle could earn for her autobiography, after she has already published with the same publishing house the children’s book ‘The Bench’.
Meghan has been slow to publish her memoirs
According to a Hollywood agent, it would be a rarity if Meghan did not publish a book with her memoirs. “I would find it surprising if Meghan didn’t publish her own story, to be honest. If she is harboring political ambitions, it would make even more sense,” the source added.
Meghan is a Democratic supporter and has grown close to prominent political figures in the U.S. such as the Kennedy family, and in December she and her husband received an award from the nonprofit Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights.
