One of the first viral phenomena on YouTube has passed away. Keenan Cahill, the internet superstar who became famous for his lip-syncing of hit music songs, has died.
WGN media reported the information through a spokesperson for the family. According to the spokesperson, Keenan passed away on December 29 and the cause of death is still unclear.
Keenan suffered from Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome
Keenan Cahill’s last publication dates back to 15 December, when he announced that he was going to undergo open heart surgery.
However, as mentioned above, the cause of his death is unclear and it is not known whether it was due to the operation.
Keenan Cahill suffers from Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome, which “causes many tissues and organs to enlarge, become inflamed or scarred, and eventually waste away.”
Skeletal abnormalities are also common in this condition.
