Juventus are hoping to sign a centre-back this winter. The Italian club is looking at two profiles from the Bundesliga, the German championship.
In Chelsea’s sights this summer, Josko Gvardiol finally stayed at RB Leipzig. The 20-year-old Croatian, who has made 21 appearances this season for his club and was selected to play the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, had spoken of his joy at staying at Leipzig this summer, while opening the door slightly for a move this winter.
According to information relayed by Tuttosport, Josko Gvardiol, tracked by Real Madrid, is in the sights of Juventus. But the Italian club will have to have good arguments to sell RB Leipzig, while the Croatian recently extended his lease (September 2022), until 2027. From now on, according to the specialized site Transfermarkt, the central defender is estimated at 60 million euros. A tidy sum, which could increase with the auctions, while Josko Gvardiol should be courted, this winter or next summer.
A Frenchman followed by Juventus
According to the Italian media Tuttosport, Juventus could turn to a less expensive solution. In this sense, the Frenchman Evan Ndicka represents a great opportunity: the former player of AJ Auxerre only has a few months left on his contract with his club, Eintracht Frankfurt. In June 2023, the central defender, a time in the sights of OM and more recently in that of Paris Saint-Germain, will be able to leave his club freely, currently 4th in the Bundesliga.
However, RB Leizpig, with a view to recovering some transfer money, could be tempted to sell Evan Ndicka already this winter. Juventus could then hope to convince the German formation with an offer, while the 23-year-old Frenchman is estimated at 32 million euros by the specialized site Transfermarkt.
Never called up with the Blues, Evan Ndicka has played 23 games this season.
