The connection between these two men? Tom Glick, Chelsea’s new business director, who worked with the two entrepreneurs on a similar plan: to create a network of clubs.
Among the entities targeted, OL, also prized by Textor who would have been surprised by the actions of the leaders of the Blues, who would seek to acquire clubs which could interest the latter. Concerning the Rhone club, the offer issued by Boehly was too late, giving time to its now competitor to find the necessary funds to buy the Rouge et Bleu.
