The 2022 NFL season has kicked off and Odell Beckham Jr is still without a team, despite the fact he is an accomplished wide receiver who has a Super Bowl championship to his name.
The 2021 season saw Beckham traded to the Los Angeles Rams, where he surprised many by rediscovering his best form en route to becoming a key part of their title-winning team.
His injury in the Super Bowl made it difficult for the Rams to make the leap of offering him a contract extension, while other teams have waited to see how he recovered before making a concrete offer.
However, his status as a free agent appears to be coming to an end, with it understood that the New Orleans Saints are reportedly interested in acquiring the services of Beckham Jr.
At 29 years old, he still has a lot to give in the league and the speculation is growing because the player posted a photo on Instagram with his former teammate, Jarvis Landry, who is currently with the Saints, with the message “I can’t wait”.
Although there is nothing official from the Louisiana team, the next few days could be key to Odell‘s future, especially given the fact he was pictured as a guest at the Saints‘ home match against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
