For several years, Saul Canelo Alvarez has enjoyed international fame after his good results in the ring led him to win championships and to put himself among the best Mexican boxers in history.
In addition to sport and business, the boxer will now take the leap to the big screen.
He will appear in Creed III
The undisputed 168-pound champion will have an appearance in the film Creed III to be released in March next year.
This was revealed by actor Michael B. Jordan, who through an Instagram story shared two photos with Canelo on the set, in one they are hugging and in the other they appear to be reviewing a scene.
Canelo adds spice to Golovkin bout
Canelo is set to face Golovkin in the last of the trilogy between the pair on Saturday, and the Mexican added spice to the encounter.
Canelo won the second meeting between the pair with a majority decision, yet many felt at the time that Golovkin got the better of the fight and deserved a win.
“He knows that he lost, but he will never admit it,” Alvarez declared at the pre-fight press conference.
