Wanda Nara’s demands to accept Icardi’s departure from PSG

Mauro Icardi completed a late move to Galatasaray, where he is looking to relaunch his career after not having many opportunities to play at Paris Saint-Germain.

Mauricio Pochettino didn’t give him much playing time last season and Cristophe Galtier didn’t want him for this campaign.

The truth is that the negotiation process was not at all easy. Wanda Nara, Mauro Icardi‘s wife and agent, had made it clear to PSG that they wanted to continue earning the same salary they had at the French club and that they were not going to leave for just any amount.

PSG wanted to get rid of Icardi at all costs and that is why they agreed to pay a large part of the Argentine striker’s salary while he is on a season-long loan at Galatasaray, who in turn also had to work hard to convince Wanda Nara.

Wanda’s demands

Wanda Nara has five children (Valentino, Constantino, Benedicto, Isabella and Francesca) and one of her big doubts about going to Turkey was how to adapt their lives in a new country.

She asked for a quick solution to find a school for them and two days after arriving in the country she was told that this had already been arranged.

According to LAM, Wanda Nara also asked for a flat in a five-star hotel for her whole family, 24-hour security, a chef and private chauffeurs. On the other hand, the request for her new home is until December in order to have time and the possibility to choose a house that is perfect for the whole family.

Mauro Icardi’s time to play again

Galatasaray want to become champions again in Turkey to return to the Champions League. Mauro Icardi will have the opportunity to relaunch his career at a club that invested heavily in this transfer window, adding players such as Dries Mertens, Sergio Oliveira, Leo Dubois, Lucas Torreira, Fredrik Midtsjo, Yusuf Demir, Haris Seferovic, Milot Rashica and Juan Mata.

In a very mixed start to the season, Galatasaray are currently fifth in the Turkish Super League with 13 points, the same number as Istanbul BB, Besiktas and Adana Dermispor. The leaders are Konyaspor with 14.
