Only three more matches before the World Cup. This Friday, Roberto Martinez unveiled a list of 30 players – without Romelu Lukaku, injured – who will make up the Belgian selection on the occasion of the next two days of UEFA Nations League. The Red Devils will host Wales on Thursday September 22 (8:45 p.m.) before traveling to Amsterdam to face the Netherlands on Sunday September 25 (8:45 p.m.) to try to grab a place in the final four. As a reminder, Belgium is currently 3 points behind its Dutch neighbour.
For this last meeting before Roberto Martinez unveils his list of 26 who will go to Qatar (and will play a friendly match against Egypt, 5 days before entering the competition), the coach has called 30 players, including Zeno Debast and Dodi Lukebakio. Without a club, Jason Denayer is also called up but the Spanish coach has warned that he will not play: “he will train with the group for the whole week but will not be ready for both matches”. We can note the absences of Adnan Januzaj (Sevilla), Simon Praet (Leicester), Nasser Chadli (Westerlo) or even Jérémy Doku, the Rennais who was left at the disposal of the Hopes.
