PSG will separate from another undesirable!

Arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2019 from Manchester United, the Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera was supposed to bring his experience of the Premier League (132 matches) and La Liga (157 matches) to help the club of the capital to achieve its ultimate goal: to win the Champions League. Nevertheless, despite 95 matches played in the Parisian jersey and a C1 final lost against Bayern Munich, the international from La Roja (2 selections) will never have succeeded in making himself indispensable, whether under the orders of Thomas Tuchel or Mauricio Pochettino.

And with the arrival of Christophe Galtier on the bench of the reigning French champion, his future is settled: he is no longer part of PSG’s plans for the coming season. To push him to leave, the sports management led by Luis Campos decided to remove him from the professional workforce for a second training group, the famous “loft”, in which all the club’s undesirables meet (Kehrer , Gueye, Kurzawa, Draxler…). Seeing that he will not find the first team, the native of Bilbao has found a way to leave not only Paris, but also France.

PSG will terminate their contract

According to the latest information from the local channel TeleBilbao, Ander Herrera would negotiate a termination of contract with the Parisian leaders to let him go free, thus freeing up a place in the workforce, but also nearly 16 M €, representing his two remaining years of contract at PSG. Instead, the two parties would have reached an agreement for compensation around 6 million euros. Information that corroborates that ofEl Correowhich announced contacts between him and the Athletic Club.

The Spanish media Report also confirms Bilbao’s interest in the Parisian, which would be a request from Ernesto Valverde, having had him under his orders during the 2013/2014 season in the Basque Country. This termination would then allow the Basque midfielder to find a base more easily: indeed, the 32-year-old would therefore be getting closer and closer to a return to the Basque Country, where he defended the rojiblanco jersey at 128. times, scoring 11 goals and providing 19 assists between 2011 and 2014. A godsend for everyone…
