Manchester United do not intend to release their English striker Marcus Rashford, who is in the sights of PSG.
In this last part of the transfer window, PSG has set itself the goal of acquiring a new striker and the priority target player is Marcus Rashford. Contacts have been made and discussions are progressing positively in this direction according to what L’Equipe of the day reveals, but the transfer of the English international is still far from being concluded.
Ten Hag relies on Rashford
The media ESPN claims that Manchester United are totally opposed to the departure of their player. Erik Ten Hag, the new coach, also lined him up as a starter in the first match of the championship against Brighton (1-2). And he stayed on the pitch until the end despite the unfavorable scenario.
PSG will therefore have to be very persuasive to achieve their goals and succeed in attracting the man who hurt them so much in the 2018/2019 Champions League. United’s position is likely to change as Rashford is down to one year of contract. If there is a very big offer for his services, the English leaders will have to review their position. For 140M€, they would be ready to release him. At the same time, and contrary to what one might think, the means of the Parisians are not unlimited, especially since they are preparing to pay a substantial amount for the interist defender Milan Skriniar.
