Djokovic’s radical US Open preparations: Pushing a Porsche down a street

Tennis star Novak Djokovic seems to be doing everything he can to try and get in the best possible shape for his next major tournament.

He is in training right now for the US Open and he has been sharing his activities regularly on social media.

One exercise has really caught the eye, though, as he can be seen pushing a Porsche a few metres down the street.

Another way that he has been getting into shape has been by practising Capoeira, the Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance and acrobatics.

It shows that the Serbian star is not resting on his laurels after he took Wimbledon glory earlier in the summer.

Will Novak Djokovic be able to play in the US Open given his vaccine status?

It is not even certain that he will be allowed to compete at the US Open given his refusal to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Porsche-pushing and the practicing of Capoeira show that he is preparing as normal.

“I am preparing as if I will be allowed to compete, while I await to hear if there is any room for me to travel to the US,” he stated on social media.

The Serbian has been having similar difficulties competing in other tournaments but he shows no signs of getting the vaccine.
