Downey congratulated Depp via video call

Josh Richman, a personal friend of Johnny Depp, confessed that the actor and Downey Jr. had a video call where he congratulated the man of the moment for his victory in the trial against Amber Heard.

According to the words of the Pirates of the Caribbean star’s friend, the star who played Iron Man gave the following message: “John, thank God, it’s over,” Downey Jr. told Depp via FaceTime.

Controversial actor Johnny Depp was in a U.K. hotel room as friends and staff cried and screamed around him just as the verdict was announced, Richman said.

Amber Heard confessed that she still loves Johnny Depp

“Today I feel disappointment beyond words. I am heartbroken because the mountain of evidence was not enough to cope with the power and disproportionate influence of my ex-husband,” said the actress after learning the verdict of the jury in Fairfax, Virginia.

After the end of the legal process, the Heard broke her silence and spoke exclusively this week with the NBC, where she assured that she had been a victim, but that she blamed neither the judge nor the jurors.

“How could they not come to that conclusion! They sat there for over three weeks, listening to, non-stop, non-stop, non-stop testimony from paid employees and, towards the end of the trial, random people,” the Aquaman actress initially expressed.

I love him. I loved him with all my heart. I know that can be hard to understand, or it can be very easy to understand, if you’ve ever loved someone,” Heard said.
