Boxing: Jaime Munguia, Jimmy Kelly make weight and they are ready for war

Mexico’s Jaime Munguia and Britain’s Jimmy Kelly had no problems with the scales and are ready for their fight this June 11 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, in a 12-round super middleweight bout.

The first to step on the scales was Kelly, who stopped at 164 pounds: the Mexican stepped on later and scored 165 pounds. Both are ready to fight.

On the same bill there will be a fight for the International Boxing Federation women’s world championship; Costa Rican Yokasta Valle (24-2, 9 KOs) will defend the belt against American Lorreine Villalobos (5-3, 2 KOs).
