Boxing: Jake Paul becomes sixth-highest earning athlete under 25

Boxer Jake Paul has reached a new milestone by becoming the sixth-highest earning athlete who is under the age of 25.

He has now made 30 million dollars from the sport, according to Sportico, in the last year.

Paul is the only fighter that has made his way into the top 10 of the lists and he certainly feels ready to crow about it.

“Made my pro-debut January 30, 2020. Two years & four months later, I’m the 6th highest-paid athlete in the world 25 and under,” he tweeted upon hearing the news.

“Hate me all you want…I’m just gonna prove you wrong. Next stop August 13th.”

Jake Paul’s boxing record

Paul is currently 5-0 in his fights, although he receives regular criticism for not yet having fought a recognised professional fighter. His last fight came in December 2021, which was a short-notice rematch against Tyron Woodley.

He knocked out Woodley, having previously beaten the ex-UFC champion on points in August.

It added to KOs over gamer ‘AnEsonGib’, ex-NBA player Nate Robinson and retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren.
