Manchester United, Real and Liverpool have been told the door is open to sign PSG superstar Kylian Mbappé.

The French superstar, who has scored 40 goals in 41 appearances this season, is ready to put his club in a difficult position this summer, according to a report from our colleagues at The Team.

The 2018 world champion is under contract with PSG until 2024 but has an option to extend until 2025. He must make the decision whether or not to activate it before July 31, 2023. The media The Team thus reports that the “strong trend” is that the 24-year-old will refuse this option.

The club, meanwhile, insist that even if the player turned down the opportunity to unilaterally extend his contract, it wouldn’t stop him from signing a new lease.

This news will mainly interest three clubs: Real Madrid, which has long been linked to Bondy’s crack, Manchester United and Liverpool.

Mbappé leaving in 2024?

The Team recalls that Kylian Mbappé should not force the hand of PSG to sell him this summer, especially since he has a strong relationship with Luis Campos, the club’s sporting director, but a departure in 2024 becomes a possibility again.

Real Madrid would be delighted to have the chance to snatch the French wonderkid on a free transfer in 12 months, after missing out on him in dramatic circumstances that hurt their supporters last year.

Likewise, it is pointed out that the Premier League will become an option for the striker. Liverpool are a club that Mbappé has long enjoyed, with the World Cup winner having previously sung the praises of Jurgen Klopp, while Man Utd, emboldened by their future takeover, should be considered as an option.

PSG could have hoped that Mbappé’s extension last summer would be an opportunity to end the soap opera of his future. Instead, it seems like she was just a brief respite.
