Winner yesterday of Omonia Nicosia (1-0) following a goal from Yannick Gomis, Aris Limassol has just taken advantage of the 3-2 defeat of his runner-up APOEL Nicosia against Apollon Limassol with in particular a double by Ioannis Pittas. Thus, the “Luminous Brigade” wins its very first title of champion of Cyprus.
A deserved reward for the band of Aleksey Shpilevski led in particular by Aleksandr Kokorin recently crowned best player in the championship. Following this title, Aris Limassol will play the preliminary rounds of the 2023/2024 Champions League.
