Billy Graham became interested in bodybuilding at a young age
Billy Graham was born on June 7th, 1943. Eldridge Wayne Coleman began his interest in professional bodybuilding when he was a child and found weightlifting fun. Furthermore, he became an avid reader of bodybuilding magazines.
As he grew, he became a shot put champion and would like to box, he even participated in the 1959 Golden Gloves.
Graham was an athlete at heart, he also tried out for the Canadian Football League prior to becoming a wrestler but people started praising his bodybuilding efforts.
Following his calling, he began wrestling back in 1969 and after a few promotion companies, he finally debuted in the WWE when it was called WWF (World Wrestling Federation) eventually in the 80s and 90s rose to fame and his style was emulated by Steve Austin and Triple H.
Graham was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2004 after he’d been dealing with liver illness for quite some time; he eventually was hospitalized for different reasons, including liver disease, cirrhosis, pneumonia, possible heart failure, internal bleeding, and before he passed last year, his toes were amputated.
Graham passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, after he was taken off life support
