A small point separates Olympique de Marseille (2nd) from RC Lens (3rd). The shock of this 34th day at the Bollaert stadium will therefore be decisive in the race for a qualifying place in the Champions League. Especially since the two teams are particularly comfortable in these conditions: OM are the second best team in Europe away from home, while Lens leads the way at home in Ligue 1.
We can therefore expect a hotly contested duel between two formations that play similar football, even if Franck Haise obviously sees notable differences between his team and that of Igor Tudor: “Yes, we have similarities with OM, but also differences in terms of pressing in particular. It is not done the same way. There is also a difference in the offensive animation. That’s why I like this OM team.”
“Getting out of the pressure and keeping time ahead”
If this all-terrain pressing from Marseille has often hurt opponents, it can also leave a lot of space in the back when the opposing team manages to make its first raises and get out of the mark. It is precisely on this point that Franck Haise intends to press to hurt OM: “The Marseille pressing has no equivalent in the championship. Many teams break their teeth. We will have to get out of the pressure and stay ahead to hurt.”

Even if it was against the course of the game, the Sang et Or managed to do it in the first leg, going to win at the Vélodrome stadium (0-1). But we know that the Olympians are not the same customers outside their bases.
