Hardly beaten on the lawn of RC Lens (3-0), AS Monaco suffered a setback in the race for the podium.

This Saturday evening, Lensois and Monegasques were at grips within the framework of the 32nd day of Ligue 1. A meeting between two teams in the fight for a qualifying place in the Champions League which was one way. Indeed, Franck Haise’s men folded the deal in half time against apathetic Rock players during the first act (3-0).
A performance that was obviously not to the liking of ASM coach Philippe Clement, who did not mince his words at a press conference: “We’ve been too weakplague the Belgian. In the first half, we didn’t win a duel. The intensity of the opponent was greater than ours. In this case, you cannot win a match. I did not recognize my team. It sucked!”
Clement spares no one

The former Brugge coach still believes in the podium, but for that, he believes that each player will have to show something else in the last 6 games of the season: “The podium? We can certainly still dream of it, tempers Clement. Things are not over. I await a reaction from the team.”
Monaco will have to react in the coming weeks, with two matches within reach against Montpellier and Angers which are looming. By the end of the season, Philippe Clement’s men will also have a few dangerous matches against Lyon, Rennes and Lille.
