Hiba Abouk, the estranged wife of Achraf Hakimi, is a Spanish actress who filed for divorce after the Paris Saint-Germain defender was accused of attempting to rape a 24-year-old woman.
Abouk, 36, reportedly requested half of Hakimi’s properties, but was shocked to find out that everything he owns is in his mother’s name.
Hakimi, 24, has a reported net worth of about $24 million, though 80 per cent of his PSG wage goes directly into his mom’s bank account.
The pair married in 2020 and share two boys, Amin and Naim, and Abouk never stood by her husband when he was accused of sexual assault. Hakimi has maintained his innocence and believes the woman is trying to extort him.
Due to the fact that Hakimi doesn’t have any properties in his name, social media users are wondering if he’ll receive half of Abouk’s money. It’s unlikely that the PSG star will request to take funds away from the mother of his children. As of now, there are also no reports suggesting that the court will mandate she give up any funds, not even lawyer fees for the soccer player.
Hiba Abouk net worth
Abouk has a reported net worth of about $2 million and would have received $8.5 million if Hakimi owned his assets.
Neither party has yet to comment on the reports of his wealth. The Morocco player is the sixth highest-paid athlete in Africa, earning around $215,000 per week.
Abouk, who is 12 years older than Hakimi, amassed her small fortune throughout her career in television.
She was born in Madrid, but is of Tunisian and Lybian descent. Abouk is the youngest of four children and attended drama school in Spain.
Achraf Hakimi praised by celebrities
Abouk has become the villain in the divorce, at least according to those scouring the internet. But she got cheated on by a man who is under investigation for rape. It’s hard to take his side, for some.
Hakimi, however, has received praise from multiple celebrities due to the way he “managed his finances.”
Former UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou took to Twitter to call Hakimi’s move a “master class.”
Controversial public figure Andrew Tate also had some words for Hakimi, who would probably not be linked to a man currently under house arrest while Romanian authorities investigate claims of human trafficking.
