After Manchester City’s quiet qualification on Saturday evening against Burnley, two Championship teams (English D2) faced off this Sunday for a place in the FA Cup semi-finals. Sheffield United, runners-up to the Clarets in the league, received Blackburn, fifth in the ranking of the antechamber of football across the Channel. First held in check at half-time, the Blades won at home against Rovers.
