Heidi Klum took to social media on Wednesday to celebrate her fourth wedding anniversary with musician husband Tom Kaulitz.
The 49-year-old model shared an Instagram post featuring an array of intimate moments captured throughout their married life, accompanied by a heartfelt caption calling Kaulitz the “love of my life.”
The post started with a video of the couple sharing a romantic moment in bed, followed by a glimpse of their home decorated with red heart-shaped balloons and a bouquet of long-stemmed roses for the special occasion.
The pictures also included an image of two colorful cakes with the words “4 years” written in brown icing. Although the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in February 2019, they held a grand wedding celebration with family and close friends in Capri, Italy, in August of the same year.
Klum announced her engagement to Kaulitz in December 2018. Kaulitz proposed to Klum in a breakfast-in-bed proposal that involved her children from her previous marriage with singer Seal – daughters Lou, 13, and Leni, 18, and sons Johan, 16, and Henry, 17.
According to a friend of Klum quoted by People Magazine, Kaulitz went to Mexico with the family before their engagement and began discussing his plans to marry their mother. The children were ecstatic and found it hard to keep the news a secret.
“Tom went to the kids and asked for Heidi’s hand in marriage, and they said ‘yes,’” the friend added.
Kaulitz made a significant effort to get to know Klum’s children from the moment he met them, according to a source. He has now become an “extra dad” to the kids and engages in activities that they enjoy, including sports with Klum’s boys and other things.
“Heidi loves his energy and take on life and feels very grateful that she met Tom,” the source added.
The happy couple’s fourth wedding anniversary is a testament to their strong bond, and their Instagram post serves as a beautiful reminder of their love for each other.
