PSG vs Lille – Ligue 1: TV channel, team news, lineups & prediction

Paris Saint-Germain’s next step to break out from their mini crisis will see them host Lille on Sunday.

Three straight defeats across all competitions have ramped the pressure up on everyone at Parc des Princes and Christophe Galtier’s side could do with building up some momentum ahead of a massive return meeting with Bayern Munich next month.

Before then, however, PSG will have to take on Lille, who are on the cusp of challenging for a Champions League spot.

Here’s all you need to know about this one.

PSG team news

Kylian Mbappe could start after making his return from injury from the bench against Bayern, with Neymar and Lionel Messi both fit enough to join him.

Achraf Hakimi has been ruled out with a hamstring injury and Marquinhos could be rested after picking up a knock, allowing the fit-again Presnel Kimpembe to return to the starting lineup.

Renato Sanches and Nordi Mukiele remain out.

(4-3-1-2): Donnarumma; Pembele, Ramos, Kimpembe, Mendes; Zaire-Emery, Verratti, Vitinha; Messi; Mbappe, Neymar

Lille team news

Adam Ounas and Ismaily remain unavailable, while young centre-back Leny Yoro will need a late fitness test after missing the last game through illness.

(4-2-3-1): Chevalier; Diakite, Fonte, Djalo, Gudmundsson; Andre, Angel Gomes; Zhegrova, Cabella, Bamba; David

There’s a lot going wrong at PSG right now but don’t underestimate Mbappe’s ability to make everything better.

With the French forward fit enough to play significant minutes, PSG’s star-studded front line is back intact and that’s usually too much for any defence in Europe to handle.

Some fitness concerns at the back should allow Lille plenty of opportunities to make a game of this, but expect PSG’s resurgence to begin here.

Prediction: PSG 2-1 Lille
